The Future of Schools

___

The future of schools should let go of all labels. The future holds inclusivity and equality at its core, celebrating each child’s individual difference, each child’s uniqueness, each child’s interest and passion.

The future of schools breaks free from the boundaries of industrialization, encourages collaboration across all disciplines, raising children to be critical thinkers, problem solves, concerned global citizens with a genuine intent to make the world a better place.

The future of schools tears down the walls of traditional schooling, making teachers learners, making learners teachers, creating a forcefield for exchange of curiosity, and an authentic desire to “know and understand”.

The future of schools let children be children, encourages children to play and to be creative. Schools become incubators of creativity.

The future of schools encourages radical acceptance and compassion, where individual differences are greeted  with empathy. We teach listening with an intent to understand rather than react.

The future of schools creates a safe container for each child to bloom, to grow in their own special way, in their own time, building their own connection to Mother Earth, and all those around them.
